A Little About Us
Palouse Medical maintains the same goals today, as it has had from the beginning; to provide local access to comprehensive, professional healthcare for area residents and meet patient healthcare needs on an individual and personal level. This is demonstrated further as we look at the history of our practice.
It all began…
From the combined vision and goals of four separate, locally owned medical practices. Emerging from their desire to provide a more comprehensive healthcare package and better serve their patients, the idea of Palouse Medical was born. Having earned respect and trust from patients and the community throughout the years, these medical offices continued their discussions and began talk of a merger to create a multi-specialty practice.
They felt passionately that by collaborating together, this merger would be able to offer each patient access to a more full healthcare spectrum. With the best interests of the community at heart, a long time Family Medicine practice, teamed up with three equally respected Internal Medicine practices in August of 1998. This union began the merging and formation of the organization that we know today as Palouse Medical.
