Kimberley Forthofer’s clinical experience has ranged from providing care to those with acute illness and injury in urgent care settings, to managing chronic conditions common to primary care, such as depression and cardiovascular disease. Additionally, over 5 years of experience previously working as an athletic trainer has left her with a special interest in sports medicine and experience in caring for those with orthopedic complaints. She enjoys providing wellness exams and women’s health. She authored a clinical review on intrauterine contraception which the Journal of Obstetric, Gynecologic, & Neonatal Nursing published in November of 2009.
As a primary care provider, Nurse Practitioner Kimberley Forthofer offers family medicine services to individuals of all ages. Her goal is to provide individualized health care and work with her patients to meet their unique health needs. More specifically she enjoys offering:
Kimberley was raised in Whitefish, a small town located in Northwest Montana and had always wanted to return to a more rural region to practice medicine. She loves the smaller setting, working closely with individuals and families, developing long-lasting patient relationships, and the opportunity to contribute as an engaged member of the community.
Outside of work, Kimberley enjoys running, mountain biking, skiing, rafting, and enjoying various sporting events with her husband and son.
