“The Palouse has always had a special place in my family, as most of them are WSU alumni, and I was happy to have a chance to finally call the Palouse my home as well. I love the recreational opportunities that exist – all within such a short distance! From fishing and hunting, to family and other community events, for us, the Palouse has it all!”
As a board certified physician, Dr. Brad practices Acute Ambulatory Care at Palouse Medical’s ReadyCare, walk-in clinic for acute illness and minor injuries. Dr. Brad enjoys helping patients feel better now with the reassurance that they will be able return to their Primary Care Provider without any lapse of care.
Dr. Brad’s medical degree equipped him with the necessary experience and training to practice Emergency and Wilderness Medicine; and, if needed, even can admit patients to Pullman Regional Hospital. This has been a fantastic fit for our ReadyCare clinic; given our rural location, the variety of issues that can be addressed or appropriately triaged, and by creating a resource not only for residents, but for guests of the Palouse as well. Coming from a LONG line of Cougs, Dr. Brad’s parents are both WSU alumni and he still has family in the Spokane area. Married to Dr. Jaime Bowman, they moved to the area and joined Palouse Medical in 2005. They started their family shortly thereafter and now have two beautiful and busy children, Nora and Evan. Both Dr. Brad and Dr. Jaime Bowman stay pretty busy spending time together, enjoying family time and all the rich opportunities for recreation and entertainment that the Palouse offers to residents.
Any spare moment that Dr. Brad isn’t in the office or at home with his family, he can be found enjoying the outdoors. He enjoys going out in the woods or on the water and seeking out protein rich sources of food and states that “elk, deer and salmon are my favorite!”
