Stephanie Fosback completed her general internal medicine training at the University of Washington in June 2009 and joined Palouse Medical shortly afterward. As a standout in medical school and residency, she was awarded the Steven L. Rudnick Award in recognition of the support she provided her peers, and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors.
In residency she served as a House Staff Representative. In addition, her dedication to primary care and her patients earned her the Tina Juul-Dam Primary Care Award in 2009. She was recognized for her strength in teaching by the medical students, earning the Resident Excellence in Teaching Award in both 2008 and 2009, and has continued to teach University of Washington medical students since completing residency.
Since 2010, Dr. Fosback has been teaching medical students in their 3rd year as part of the WWAMI program. She has been recognized as an Associate Professor of the University of Washington. She has continued to work hard to provide excellent patient care and was nominated for a physician excellence award at Pullman Regional Hospital in 2010.
As a board certified internist, Dr. Stephanie Fosback provides primary care at Palouse Medical. She enjoys working with patients on all medical issues and has a special interest in women’s health, dermatology and rheumatology. Additional specific medical interests include:
Originally from Colville, Washington, Dr. Stephanie Fosback and husband were thrilled to have an opportunity to move to Pullman. They have enjoyed living in the Palouse for the past year, and have been amazed by how welcome the community has made them feel.
Dr. Fosback enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, family and friends. She enjoys attending community and athletic events, hiking, skiing, jogging and horseback riding.
