How Do I Register for the New Portal?
You will need to create a brand-new account to use the new portal. Accounts from the previous portal are not transferable to the new one. We understand some may find this to be inconvenient, however registration for the new portal is quick and simple, with most patient accounts being approved automatically.
Create an Account
Select Create a New Patient Portal Account from the main page and follow the prompts.
Once approved, login information will be emailed to you. Usually a request will be approved automatically, however if there is a discrepancy between the information you provided and the information we have in your chart, a staff representative will need to review your request.
- Please allow at least 1 business day for a request to be approved
- Depending on the discrepancy, it may not identify a patient match in our system. If you receive this alert when attempting to register, please call our clinic so that we may register you manually.
Although an email address is preferred, it is not required for registration. Please let our office know if you do not have an email but would like access to the portal.
Having trouble or just need some help? Give us a call and we are more than happy to assist you!
Portal Invites
We will be sending out portal registration invitations via email to patients the day after an appointment in our office. Accepting this invitation allows for immediate portal access once patient identity has been verified.
Can I opt out?
Yes, if you are not interested in using the portal, simply decline the invitation. Once you decline, you will no longer receive invitations to register. If you did not receive an invitation but would like to ensure our staff has you opted out of any future invites, please give our clinic a call.
What’s New?
The new portal provides a faster and more efficient user experience. It has a cleaner layout, allowing for easier navigation, plus a few new & improved features!
Medical Information
Select “Medical” from the main menu
Your medical information is now all in one place, allowing you to quickly view your current allergy list, medication list, directives, immunizations, orders, and chart documents (such as imaging and lab reports). Please contact our office to request any changes or additions to these lists.
Medical Records
Select “Documents” from the main menu or by clicking the Chart Documents link under “Medical”
While every document in your chart is not automatically shared by the portal, you may request access to anything additional you may need. We can send individual records by secure message or we can share documents so that they are added to the records that are accessible to you in the Documents tab.
Whenever new clinical documents are available for you to view, you will receive notification by email and receive notice on the portal home page. Find these notices underneath the “Messages” section. New documents will not be available until your provider has signed off on them, so please be sure to provide adequate time for test results and reports to appear.
Demographics
Select “Profile” from the main menu
Easily review, change, and update your demographic information. Including address, phone number, personal contacts, and employer information. Please note, some information is not available for you to change via portal (such as your name, date of birth, and sex). Simply give our office a call if you need to update anything that is not accessible to you on the portal.
Messaging
Select “Messages” from the main menu
Receive and send secure messages to your provider and nurse/medical assistant, billing, medical records, or the front desk. If you are not established with a primary care provider at Palouse Medical, some of these options may not be available to you.
Whenever you receive a new message, you will receive notice by email and on the home page.
Linking Family Members
Select “Request access for additional patients” from the home page under the Messages section
You can now submit a request to add family members right from your portal’s home page. You will then be prompted to fill in their name(s) and date of birth(s). Once a staff member has approved this addition, they will be linked to the same account. Your current login information will not change.
Please be aware, unless there is Power of Attorney paperwork on file, any patients over the age of 18 will need to sign a consent form to share their information with each other before these accounts can be linked. Access the form digitally here, or stop by the office to fill them out. Remember, each adult patient must fill out and sign their own release form.
